    On November 24, the hoisting of the first wind turbine of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei New Energy Company 's 1000MW Wind Power Project in Weichang Chaoyang was successfully completed. The total investment of the Project is RMB 901 million. Once put into operation, the estimated annual on-grid power generation capacity will be 432 million kWh, which can save 131,150 tons of standard coal and reduce 227,200 tons of CO2 emissions every year.

    On November 21, the Thermal Power Generation Branch of China Electricity Council organized the 2024 Annual Working Conference and 2023 National Generator Unit Reliability "Benchmarking Unit" Release Meeting in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The Xuzhou Company's unit #6 entered the top ten of 1000MW pulverized coal boiler units and won the honorary title of "Benchmarking Unit".

    On November 20, the Gaoyou Shenjushan 110 MW PV Power Generation Project of Zhenjiang Company in Jiangsu Province was commenced in the Gaoyou Hi-tech Zone. The total investment of the project exceeds RMB 450 million. It adopts a fishery-solar hybrid technology, generating an average annual electricity output exceeding 150 million kWh. It can save about 46,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 120,000 tons every year.

    On November 14, the "National Conditions Education Base for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Youth" co-built by Guangzhou Company and Jinan University was inaugurated at Guangzhou Company's Nansha Power Plant. It is Jinan University's first enterprise-based "National Conditions Education Base for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Youth".

    On November 10, Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Administration issued a document, stating that Sichuan Company, located in Liangshan Prefecture, obtained approval to participate in the 834,000 kW new energy project successfully, marking the fully implementation of the first batch of 1,064,000 kW projects for the whole industrial chain of traditional Chinese medicine and new energy project base in Liangshan Prefecture.

    On November 5, the ammonia injection test of gas unit #1 in Beijing Company was successfully put into operation for the first time, marking the successful completion of denitration technology upgrading and renovation of two gas units of the company. The SCR denitration technology is adopted in the Project.     On November 5, the Guazhou Base of Gansu Company was officially inaugurated. The Guazhou Base is located in Guazhou County, Jiuquan City. The base encompasses 4 wind farms and 1 PV power station, with 65 employees and a total installed capacity of 751,000 kW.

    On October 31, two local standards of Guangdong Province, Technical Specification for the Operation of Carbon Dioxide Capture Test Platforms in Coal-fired Power Plants and Technical Specification for the Operation of Membrane Carbon Capture in Coal-fired Power Plants, edited by Shenshan Company, were officially released online and will be formally implemented from January 28, 2025.

    On October 28, the DCS power receiving of Unit 3 of Zhejiang Company's Wenzhou Power Plant Phase II Project was successful at one time. The domestically-made independent and controllable "Ruiwo" DCS control system is adopted for the Project. Domestic CPU chips are used for controllers and servers, and Galaxy Kirin domestic systems are used for operating systems. Hardware such as DCS controllers and IO modules are completely replaced by domestic hardware, with an overall localization rate of 100%

    On October 27, the Neihuang Phase III 200 MW Wind Power Project of Henan New Energy Company successfully completed the foundation pouring for the first wind turbine. After the Project is put into operation, it is expected to generate 684 million kWh of electricity annually, save 137,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 440,000 tons annually.
